EEK, YOU GUYS. This month, Onetenzeroseven is THREE. To think, just over three years ago a tonne of jewellery supplies landed on my doorstep and I set about producing my very simple first collection, complete with the most cringeworthy photographs. A few months later I started posting treasuries I had made on Etsy to this blog and then I started to let out peeks of my life. My little home away from home didn’t really have a direction, but I love having the memories of those early days. Looking back, my blog was full to bursting with personality, if a little naive; My writing was much more fanciful and picturesque. I miss writing short stories and waxing lyrical over old memories. I’ve also come a long way since my very first outfit post.

To celebrate Onetenzeroseven’s third birthday, oNecklace very kindly sent me the most precious gift. I’ve been searching for a name necklace for a year or so, but hadn’t successfully found one that would allow enough characters for me to spell out Onetenzeroseven, until now. This dainty piece is made from sterling silver making it a keepsake I can treasure for years. There’s something so special about something personalised that can mean so much to just one person and this necklace means so much to me. I didn’t want to get ‘Sophie’ because it didn’t explain all the things that I have achieved over the years; Wearing my alter ego round my neck makes me feel proud and special, with a spring in my step.

I am beyond humbled by all the support I’ve received these past few years from my friends and family, let alone all of my lovely readers, followers, customers and new friends. Each and every one of you is special to me and I could not still be clinging to my dreams without you. You are loved. I’ve got some fun and exciting things lined up before the month is over. Thank you for an incredible three years, here’s to another six! ;)
