Autumn Is Just Around The Corner…

I’m so excited that Autumn is fast approaching. Me and the summertime have never quite bonded. I’d rather be too cold than too hot, the summery colours don’t suit me and there is nothing quite like walking in the snow in the fading light, wrapped up in knitted scarves and fairisle cardigans, hats, mittens, boots, coats. Sipping a hot chocolate by the fire and listening to the rain falling in the pitch black sky. An almost apocalyptic moment.

A shop that it fueling my endless excitement is Yiskah Knits on Etsy. Knitted hats and fingerless gloves are starting to fill up her sweet and sophisticated corner of the internet and I am so in love with them! If, unlike me, you’re not an Autumn/Winter girl there is still oodles of choice from darling knitted bow earrings to adorable knitted heart brooches and necklaces.

I was lucky enough to e-meet Jessica, owner of Yiskah Knits and find out we had a mutual love of each other’s work. Jessica is sweet and fun and her personality obviously seeps into her work.
We arranged to do a swap… a double swap! I chose a gorgeous coral pink coloured tiny bow ring which makes my fingers feel as dainty and nimble as I wish they were ;) and a pair of oh, so sweet, burgundy tiny bow earrings.

I have worn the earrings on several occasions, but I managed to get my Boy to snap them while we were out at the Chapel Allerton festival yesterday:

I have my eye on many more things in Jessica’s shop, here are some of my favourites:

Make sure you pop along to her shop, Yiskah Knits on Etsy and have a peek at her blog, too. It’s super cute!!

As for me, I’m still waiting for those crisp brown leaves to fall… then I can be myself again <3

Loves!! x xx
