We popped over to Saltaire last week as Boyfriend was playing a gig at the social club. It’s absolutely beautiful there with kooky shops and gorgeous brickwork on the houses, the perfect location for some Spring pastels. If I wasn’t such a city girl, I could totally see myself living there… maybe in a few years!
This beautiful lace dress is from H&M and although I’m usually irritated by their uneven sizing, it’s a great standard fit. I’m wearing a 14 due to it’s super short length, but I think I could have managed to zip up a 12. The pink colour is available in stores. I wanted more of a casual look for the evening so I dressed down with cute brogues, opaque tights and a slouchy cardigan, however I’m looking forward to wearing this with my mint green heels for a night out! Spring pastels are such a break away from what I’d normally wear, but I loved putting this together for something a bit different.
While Boyfriend was on tour last week we got a bit of taste of what it would be like if we both worked from home and I’ve got to say I got a little bit too used to having him around late morning and cooking nice dinners at lunch time. I loved staying up late working, which has always been my thing; I’m a total night owl so I get into my stride in the afternoon and could work until the early hours, another reason why being self employed is perfect for me. I hope someday we can make working from home a reality and adapt our lifestyles to the way we’d love to live.
