Ingredients:
500g Tin Chopped Tomatoes
Sliced Jalapenos To Taste (I used 5)
2 x Tablespoon Reggae Reggae Jerk BBQ Sauce
3 x Tablespoon 0% Fat Greek Yoghurt
Splash of Tap Water
Equipment:
Pan
Wooden Spoon
Tablespoon
Hand Blender
Step One:
Add your tomatoes to the pan and simmer. Follow this with your BBQ sauce and jalapenos. Taste as you go to monitor spice level.
Step Two:
Add your greek yoghurt. If you’ve made the dish too spicy, you can counter this with more youghurt.
Step Three:
Remove from heat and blend with a hand blender. Add a splash of water until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
Step Four:
Serve. You can lay out a dish of greek yoghurt on the side so your guests can control their own spice levels. Just stir in and enjoy.
Super easy, right? Even better is you really don’t need fresh ingredients; every item used was already found in my cupboards. I actually came up with this recipe one rainy Saturday when we didn’t want to venture into the cold to get some food. Really warms you up too, OOF.
