SEVEN: Awesome #PetsOfInstagram

Best Pets on Instagram

Everyone knows Instagram is for taking photos of your pet and then laughing at other people’s furry weirdos, so here’s my top seven pets of Instagram:

// Tuna | tunameltsmyheart
The perfect advocate for adoption with a crazy overbite. Massive fan of the love story between him and Colin – the ugliest dog toy I’ve ever seen!

// Lily | lilythewhippet
I don’t know if this one is because she reminds me so much of our Frank, but Lily gets herself into some hilarious positions. I only have one issue and it’s the cutesy ‘speak’ underneath the photos, otherwise Lily is totally adorable.

// Otis | otisbarkington
A real gentleman of the Pooch World, Otis always looks so suave and sophisticated. Well, almost always!

// Rescue Bats | batsqld
A kind of bat… with a dog-like head… cuddling a towel. I mean, what. I can attest that my new found obsession with bats is the fault of one of my best friends who’s job is literally to look at bats all day!

// Maddie | thiswildidea
If you’re a fan of dogs on things, you’ll love Maddie’s crazy adventures.

// Sarrah | sarrah_hedgehog
Ever seen a hedgehog take a ‘selfie’? The antics of a tiny hedgehog and her pals!

// Frank | onetenzeroseven
I couldn’t do a ‘Seven Awesome #PetsOfInstagram’ without including my very own Frank Monster! Pop over to my Instagram to see Frank sleeping, sleeping on the sofa, sleeping in my bed and being a weirdo with #TheDailyFrank!

The Dandy Dog Company: Dog Coat Review

Quilted Dog Coat

I’m so excited to be bringing you Frank’s first outfit post! Haha, I’m such a geek ;) Look how smart my little pup looks in his new coat. If you don’t know (where have you been?) Frank is our rescue dog; He’s about 7 years old and we adopted him from Dogs Trust Leeds just over three years ago. Frank is completely nuts, obsessive, annoying, loud, messy and a poop-machine, but I love his little heart to teeny-tiny pieces!

Handmade Dog Coat

Dog Coat Review

Frank is a Whippet cross-breed so he has very short hair and barely any on his belly. He doesn’t really like the rain, but he absolutely loves bounding around in the snow so when The Dandy Dog Company kindly sent me and Frank a brand new, handmade dog coat from their bespoke service we were eager to try it out for this bitterly cold Winter. The coat is quilted, waterproof and warm, but still allows Frank to run wild and free like he demonstrated today in the park. It came beautifully gift wrapped too, in case you’re thinking of a Christmas gift for your favourite beast. There were even a couple of biscuits in there for Frank to devour – Thanks Dandy Dog!

The popper buttons are much more practical, unlike the velcro on his old coat that we bought from the local pet shop, so when he runs it doesn’t fly off onto the floor. There’s also an adjustable belly strap for added comfort. It was a joy to work with The Dandy Dog Company who gave clear instructions on how to measure my pooch and offered a great aftercare service were there to be any problems. I also really love the adorable corduroy collar, making him look super trendy and all the doggies we meet either want to be him or be with him!! What a stud ;)
