Outfit Post: Rockabilly Ruins

Fifties style

So this has been one of the most fun projects I’ve worked on so far here on my blog. Inntravel, a walking holidays company based in Yorkshire, sent me this Polaroid camera to take part in their #MyYorkshirePhoto campaign. Of course I jumped at the chance to celebrate the greatness that is Yorkshire and you can join in too! Just pop down to your favourite Yorkshire location, take a photo and tag Inntravel on Twitter and hashtag #MyYorkshirePhoto.

To celebrate the awesome that is Yorkshire, we wandered down to Kirkstall Abbey at the weekend; it was a beautiful day! There were families playing ball games, kids riding their bicycles and dogs panting their little tongues out. There was even a food & craft festival on, but we were too late to partake in any of the tasty treats! It’s funny how you don’t realise how great a place is when you have it at your fingertips. It only took us 25 minutes to walk there so we’ll definitely have to make more use of it this Summer. There will be more photos in a blog post later in the week!

Anchor Tote Bag
I’m also debuting a piece from my brand new product range!! You guys have been helping me choose which designs to start out with and it looks like the Anchor has been a popular choice, so here it is: The Anchor Tote Shopping Bag! I am soooo excited. What do you think? These bags aren’t your typical canvas tote bags, they’re much wider making them great for carrying home your shopping or squeezing in all your folders and essentials for work or university. They should be available to purchase next month! If you don’t want to miss out, you can follow me on Twitter or sign up to my mailing list to be notified when they go on sale.

I’m so tempted by any instax creating camera. I have the DianaF+ with the instax back and I love, love, love it. Almost as much as Yorkshire. Loved this post xx

Hehe, thanks. It’s been one of my favourites too; it’s great to be able to celebrate my local area. Ooh dreamy Diana! I’ve been thinking of getting a Diana lens for my DSLR for absolutely ages!

I’ve wanted one for so long, but actually the novelty wears off fast. It’s so hard to capture colour and detail with them. I guess in this day and age where printing photos is so easily accessible they’re not as cool as they once were. Thank you!
