6 Ways To Wear: A T-Shirt

6 Ways To Wear A T-Shirt

I’ve never been a t-shirt and jeans girl; despite trying on many occasion I never feel like I’m dressed right. As a huge music fan I have bucket loads of band shirts in the bottom of my drawer and every time I buy one I swear I’m going to wear it out ..and then reluctantly it falls into my pyjama cycle. When I went to the TSHIRT STORE launch last year I was gutted that I didn’t really wear t-shirts, because they had so. many. awesome ones!! So I set myself a challenge to style a t-shirt in at least five different ways without losing my own style – I managed six!!

Skull T-Shirt

Leaf Earrings

I was delighted when TSHIRT STORE very kindly sent me the t-shirt that I fell in love with on launch night, after all it is the catalyst that started off this whole challenge for me ;) and it’s beautiful. The colours are gorgeous and it’s girly with a darker edge, making it perfect for my style. It’s a fantastic length too, making it totally wearable with leggings .. and have I mentioned I love skulls?

Some of these outfits are my favourite, ever. I’m currently wearing ‘the leggings’ as I type this, perfect for hanging out at home on Sundays.

I really love the Tshirt tucked into the skirt look. I have to say I agree with you as tshirts don’t really fit with my style but I love how the colours work in this look. The lime green and burgundy really pick up colours in the top making it look very pulled together. Thanks for the inspiration!

I wish I was as good at styling t-shirts as you! I just go with the usual jeans/t-shirt combo… that’s it!x

I love the look where you’ve layered the tee over your red dress! Such a cute look that I never would’ve thought of

I love a good t-shirt, but hate jeans, so I really struggle to incorporate them for going out of the house. Pairing them with two skirts is a great idea.

You look great in all of these – I particularly love the last one, with those lovely colours from the skirt and cardigan – and its a great t-shirt!

Thank you! It’s lovely to hear when you’re wearing something a bit out of your comfort zone. I didn’t used to be a bright colours girl, but I’m totally bowled over this season.

I had exactly the same struggles – it’s been fun thinking out of the box a little!

Thank you! It’s a great one because you can whip off the t-shirt and go straight into a ‘night out’ look for days when you haven’t got time to go home an change.

It’s easy really, I just started by thinking of ways to wear my favourite items with a t-shirt! But jeans and t-shirt looks good on you! :)

Thank you Kate! I think the colours were really important with this one; the skirt and cardigan don’t really go as separates, but thankfully the t-shirt brings them together :)
