Memories. Poppies always remind me of my Nan so in a way, the more I’ve wanted to feel closer to her, the more obsessed with poppies I have become. Yep, there’s some up there in my header, beautifully illustrated by Velvet Wolves. These earrings by Victoria Walker [4] embody the ultimate memory for me as my Nan had a big planter at the top of her stairs full of dried poppy pods.

Reminders. I fell in love with Fossil bags while I was browsing Macy’s New York for gifts. So even though we now have an actual stand alone Fossil store right in the middle of Leeds, their bags, purses and accessories will always remind me of New York City. This bag [2] holds two memories for me, so is definitely on my Christmas list. How adorable is that key, too?!

Remembrance. I think it’s fantastic that the Royal British Legion have developed such a great range of goodies to buy in support of the serving and ex-servicemen. I used to buy the traditional paper poppy to show my respect, but now there are so many beautiful items that I actually want. This umbrella [1] is seriously darling. Don’t forget to take time on the 11th this month to remember those who died in the line of duty.

What emblem holds the most memories for you? Loves x xx

I almost bought that Layla Amber necklace last time I was in Edinburgh, love it. I’m not sure what holds the most memories for me, but more places. Like anywhere with lakes reminds me of growing up between them, and vineyards remind me of home.
