Outfit Post: I Heart You

Outfit Post, Fashion, Heart, Heart Print, Colourful, Colour, Summer

I love this pattern clashing trend, it makes putting together outfits so much fun! You’d be amazed at how many outfits you could throw together from the same items in your wardrobe and I find the easiest way to match unlikely items is to pay attention to colour when you do your washing or when you fold your pretties up and pop them back in the drawer. Look at what your clothes sit next to, pick out matchy colours. Despite looking like completely different items, my top and skirt contain almost the exact same colour palette. They match, but they clash.

I was sent this heart print top by Oasap.com, an online fashion retail store that offers free worldwide delivery. The brand produce adorable clothing and I just can’t stopping admiring this precious heart print blouse. It’s lightweight and therefore perfect for summer, but will also make a lovely addition to my Winter layering when that time rolls around, providing that much needed pop of colour in the dull fall seasons! Some of their items are one size and can be quite small fitting so I recommend you read the measurements and compare them to one of your best fitting pieces of clothing, unworn and laid flat.

I’m happy to be working with Oasap here on Onetenzeroseven because they have excellent values that I’m excited to support. They run a charity donation scheme that is partly funded by their sales and partly by a customer opt in. You can read more about this, here. It’s a small percentage, but such a simple idea that I think more stores should take on board. The brand also work with factories that can guarantee the welfare of it’s workers; a must in this age of cheap clothes and cheap labour. Big thumbs up from me!

1x 400g Tin Chopped Tomatoes

A classic Onetenzeroseven Recipe, my Patatas Bravas are so easy to cook your dog could whip them up. Y’know, if he had opposable thumbs! This is a great meal to serve up at a party or to a large group of friends. Can serve anywhere between 3-8 people as a part of a meal.

Step One  //  Wash your potatoes and chop them up into smallish pieces. I prefer not to peel them, especially if you’re using Jersey Royals; they have a lovely skin.
Step Two  //  Bring a pan of water to the boil and slip in your chopped potatoes. Boil them on a medium heat for around 12-15 minutes or until soft.

Step Three  //  Drain the potatoes and then add the tin of tomatoes to the pan with one teaspoon of Very Lazy Chilli and one teaspoon of Very Lazy Garlic.
Step Four  //  Simmer the mixture for approx 10-15 minutes or until the tomatoes have reduced to a thick sauce.
Step Five  //  Serve with a tapas selection of cooked Spanish meats, fresh bread, salad vegetables and grilled halloumi cheese.
