Brown Paper Packages, Tied Up With String…

This has been on my mind for a couple of weeks now, wanting to send off my creations on branded packaging so that they would make a great gift. I find there’s something a bit odd about receiving jewellery/small accessories just wrapped up in tissue or wrapping paper. There needs to be some kind of card or box involved and I didn’t know how to create it to look professional and in keeping with the items themselves, without adding too much cost to the item or the postage.

I’ve been back and forth with brown paper packages, boxes and glassine bags since I opened back in January/February, but this idea I am REALLY pleased with. Completely handmade to compliment my handmade items too :DD

Hope you like…

Today’s work.
Not telling of the hours and hours of hand crafting (which doesn’t even include the weeks of planning!).
This is why I love handmade so much, you know how much care and attention goes into every single aspect.

My latest orders, ready to be parceled up and sent out :)

And now, despite getting that feeling of staying up all night creating and listening to music and overdosing on tea, I must go snuggle up with Boyfriend and doggie as, alas, I must be up in time for the day job tomorrow… loves x xx

“Mere Colour Can Speak to the Soul in a Thousand Different Ways”

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to win Stitched With Love‘s ‘550 likes on Facebook’ competition. I never win anything so I was super excited and eagerly awaited my parcel of four heart magnets :)) I also won a £5 gift voucher, which I am yet to spend, but already know what I want and where I’m going to hang it ;)

The magnets arrived and no sooner had I ripped open the parcel, had I displayed it’s contents in my kitchen where it matched my other kitchen accessories to perfection!

Stitched With Love‘s shop is a perfect hommage to shabby, yet chic homewares and accessories and I love every single piece. They are both of great quality and affordable and Stitched With Love‘s bubbling and lovely personality seeps into every item.

Still not convinced? Here’s what I won, nicely displayed in my currently very shabby kitchen.

Now I think it’s cup of tea time… my brain has stopped engaging ;) Loves!!
